In that installed SH3 folder, there's also an 'sh3. Delete that one and replace Paste it with the one you copied before. Click that copied 'sh3. Now you can delete the folder that contain the ISO you downloaded from the beginning Note that when you do so, it'll say that the folder can't be deleted because it was run in under other program. Only a certain file can't be deleted about file. The rest can be deleted. In other word, you need to manually delete each in the entire folder.

After that copy the the entire disk into your pc. You can do it by clicking on the Dvd drive on the side and pressing "copy". After that open the new one you just copied and click the folder called "deviance", copy the sh3.

They both look exactly the same, the one you copy is a bit smaller in size I think. Don't click on the sh3. What you have to do is click setup.

Unfortunately, I can't be bothered to download the ISO again to double check everything, but trust me, the cracked file is inside one of the folders that it's pretty hard to miss. All the ammo you picked up should appear in the Supplies slot below the Weapons. Got this game working in Windows 7 using a virtual drive and with an appropriate hardware, just install it as you normally would and then copy the cracked. I agree that the more ships are around, the more variables the savegame needs to keep track of, the less stable it is. The U-Boat:Battle in the Mediterannean seems to aggravate the situation. There seems to be a definite bug with clicking "surface cruise mode" on the crew management screen, that causes an immediate crash under many situations. Some more investigation has proven that installing and uninstalling Uboat:Mediterannean deletes files that used to be there which explains the blank title screen and instability.

The only thing I'm wondering is: If the elements added to my patrol were put there by the Mediterranean mod, and I roll back to standard SH3, will that savegame EVER load, and if so, will I get credit, will all the ships that were nearby vanish I really don't know.

Anyone have a tool that scans savegames for corruption and repairs them? Any hex offsets that could be checked for bad data? Wiping the. TMP file from the SH3 saves folder didn't work. For fun, nor did Registry Mechanic, defrag, wiping the Windows temp dirs, or anything else done to clean Windows that doesn't affect SH3 and usually just serves to make people feel like they're doing something productive toward repairing a problem the company won't acknowledge.
